AA for Professionals
We are keen to work with professionals, employers and service providers to help alcoholics get the support they need to stop drinking.
We have outreach officers available who would be happy to provide support to you, your team and service users including:
- Information and guidance
- Literature - posters, leaflets and contact detail cards
- Talks and workshops
- Joint meetings and panel discussions
We also have specialist officers available for employers, health care professionals, armed services, prisons and probation and schools and colleges.

According to government statistics, an estimated 1.6 million adults in England may have some level of alcohol dependence and alcohol misuse is estimated to cause over 30,000 deaths per year in the UK.
With the right support, alcoholics can recover from alcoholism and lead healthier and happier lives.
AA is a secular, non-profit, mutual-aid organization that provides free, confidential support to anyone who is worried about their drinking. You can find out more about AA here.
